About Robert Freed MD, RadiologY Expert

Radiologist and educator.

I read chest, abdomen, and pelvis studies every day as a partner and emergency radiologist with Midwest Radiology, one of the largest private radiology groups in the country. My work as an expert grows directly out of that daily clinical practice and from years spent teaching physicians how to understand complex imaging.

Expertise matters.
So does the ability to explain it.

As a former Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, teaching physicians was part of my job. I bring that same approach to legal matters: break the imaging down, identify what matters, and explain it in language a non-radiologist can understand.

Whether I’m speaking with an attorney during an initial review or explaining a finding in deposition or at trial, the goal is clarity—not advocacy disguised as medicine.

My aim as an expert isn’t to overwhelm. It’s to help attorneys and juries genuinely understand the imaging in front of them.
